I have spent some of this afternoon preparing our church building to open for personal prayer and I looked at a shell. We have had to put so much stuff away so that we can keep social distancing and everything cleanable, it’s certainly not the building I am used to worshiping in. But God hasn’t changed and He has the ability to speak to us in so many ways. It doesn’t have to be in a specific building at a specific time on a Sunday. As we read through Acts as a church, we see the early believers persecuted and at risk of being put to death for their faith and yet they continued to witness and God used them mightily to perform miracles and signs and wonders. As we move forward in these unprecedented times let’s be open to God’s ways, let’s be prepared to listen to His nudges and try doing things in ways that are perhaps not the way we would ‘expect to’. We are starting to run Christianity Explored courses as a church so if you don’t know Jesus as your personal saviour why not join one of these and find out more for yourself? If you do know Jesus then who can you invite? More details above. Ali
