Acts 10 – Looking at this chapter and I met Cornelius again and enjoyed the extra-ordinary reminder of the work of angels.  I have considered the devotion that Cornelius had in his life to God, the prejudice highlighted in the chapter and looked at my own life as I think about where I have seen angels and how I feel at the moment.  I heard ‘pause for thought’ on Radio 2 this week and it mentioned disillusionment/darkness and this hit me as I recognised these feelings as mine at this current time.  The verse shared during pause for thought was Isaiah 40:31 – But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. I feel refreshed by this verse and am so thankful for how it impacts my life.  I am hoping in the Lord and am back on track like Cornelius and will be watching out for my own angels.
