Which fruit do YOU need to grow?

2 Timothy 1: ‘6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.’ John Paul spoke to us last week about ‘Stepping out’, about our need to put our hand into the hand of God and move on with Him as we move on into 2020. We are very much on a journey at West Denton, we have had words of prophesy about being a beacon, we have been called to SHINE and we have had pictures of being broken clay jars that have been glued back together with the light of the Holy Spirit shining through the joins. In Galatians 5 vs 22 to 23 it states: ’22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.’ Which fruits do we need to grow this year to become more like the vessels that the Lord wants us to be? Let’s encourage one another to be bold in the Lord and look forward with excitement to the mighty works He will do this year. Ali
